Minutes of Meeting Oct 29, 2000.

Meeting Called to order:  3:35 pm. by Phil Cantor, Chairman.
Minutes from last meeting read and corrections made regarding a grand niece.

Minutes accepted unanimously. 

Moment of silence for Herb Cantor observed after which Ron Jordan offered some personal remembrances. 

Susan Gladstone mentioned that a memorial notice existed on our website.   

Treasurer’s report:
$6,000 invested in 2 Smith Barney Mutual Funds 
$16,000 in T-Bills, money market account and checking account.
Sandy Hornick became an additional signator for our Merchant’s Bank account. 

Financial Secretary’s report by Millie Cantor:
The report included a cash report and a list of relatives who have not paid their dues.
A check for $100 was voted unanimously for Project Ezra. 

Entertainment Dept. had no report. 

Cemetery Dept.:  Ron Jordan:
1 place left in Mt. Judah
Ron mentioned that certain practices are by tradition, not law:
e.g. cremation and placing a woman next to a man.

Ron Jordan suggested to start thinking of 90th reunion plans.
